# hello, world Welcome to garay.mx. You are inside a fake terminal. It began as one static HTML file of vanilla JavaScript — zero build steps, honest work. Then the resident engineer won: the shell is now a Zig binary compiled to WebAssembly. I have spent 15+ years in one of these: moving data through ETL pipelines, tuning Postgres, shipping Elixir and Ruby to production. A terminal is not a gimmick here; it is an honest home page. ## why it looks like a warez NFO Before package managers and pull requests, the way you learned that software existed was a text file drawn in box characters by someone with a handle.
